Upcoming events...

Ok, so I am horrible about keeping this blog updated! lol So much time passes that I forget to update everything.. I'd be on here a week if I did that! I did forget to mention in my last post that ALL the rennovations are finally completed!! We have hardwood floors, new tile and new carpet.. Plus a brand new custom back door!! everything looks GREAT!! I have pictures somewhere, but I don't know where they are right now.. I'll try to remember to post some pics later on...

Let's see... Steve and Andrea's wedding is only 2 1/2 weeks away!! This past weekend mom and I hosted a lingerie shower for Andrea.. It was so much fun except that the weather kept a lot of people from coming.. There was only 8 of us, but we had a blast!!! Things are really coming together for them.. We finished up the programs today and are doing the engagement pics on Friday.. It'll be here and over before you know it!!

I am sooo excited... I am starting cake decorating class tonight!!! Sandy and I are doing the groom's cake for the wedding so we decided to take a class.. i'm nervouse because I am not the least bit artistic!! lol Hopefully it will go well!! I'll take some pics and upload them soon!! This could be very entertaining.. Me and Sandy together is always a trip! HAHA

Macki has not had a sinus infection for about 2 months now!! YAY She seems to be doing great and it looks like removing her tonsils and adnoids will be avoided.. For now! haha

Well, I think that is about it for now....

One more thing....

I forgot to say that Macki finally lost her other front tooth.... Eating again was the culprit! haha

This, That and the Other...

OK, so things have been NUTS!!! We started having all these autograph sessions and work has been insane ever since.. I have never in my life seen so many people in the mall!!!!

It was wild, but fun! This was the first of many very very busy weekends at Parkway Place! lol We had two sessions this past weekend and now I think it's

over for a while!! whew!!

We went to the Smokies back in February .. It was a blast.. The girls had so much fun playing in the snow!!! Sandy and I caught a stomach bug somehow, but all in all it was a good trip! lol

This past weekend was Easter.. Sooooo busy.. We had family get togethers Friday, Saturday and Sunday.. I feel like I weigh 400lbs after all that good food!!! haha Saturday night Karis, Caleb & Jayden spent the night, so needless to say getting ready for church Sunday morning and cooking food for dad's house was a bit overwhelming!

We had such a good time being with family and the kids had a blast hunting all those eggs!!!!

Welcome 2010

Well the holidays have come and gone... They were great. I had a wonderful time with my family and friends!! Check out all the new pics...Here we are in 2010. I remember back when I was a kid that sounded so far away.. Time goes by so fast now though it seems..

We have had two snows in the last couple weeks which is kinda weird for Alabama.. 1/2 inch of snow and the whole city shut down for like four days!!! lol The kids loved it though!! They got to miss two days of school!!!

We are about to start some renovations in our house.. New floors (hardwood, carpet and tile), new appliances and new countertops... I'll post pics soon.. We ordered the hardwood today. They said 3-5 business days for delivery, so hopefully by next Monday they will start laying it! This means lots of work for us!! Also, in usual project form, problems have already arose! The back door apparently has been leaking and cause the plywood to rot. So we now have to add new plywood and a new back door to the list. We have alotted ourselves only so much money, so the rennovations may not be done until next year! haha I am dreading the whole process, but looking forward to the end result!! We have wanted to do this for so long, I'm just glad we are finally getting to!!

Work is starting to slow down, but with Alabama winning he National Championship (Roll Tide) we have a few things up our sleeve to keep us busy!! You never know who might be coming to town, so check our website www.usasportsartinc.com in the events section to see what's new!!!

We are also planning a trip to the Smokies in Feburary and I am looking so forward to it!! Maybe it'll snow there too!

Oh, Macki lost her 2nd tooth this past weekend.. She was eating Cheerios and it fell out! haha You have to understand that she lets her teeth get to the point they are hanging on by a thread and wont let us touch them.. The 1st one came out while eating as well! Anyway, when it fell out and she knew the tooth fairy would be coming, she and Karis decided that $20 or $30 would be a good amount to get!(she got $15. I said $10 , but Anthony said since it was her front tooth it should be more! Sucker! haha)) Are you kidding me? I remember getting excited over a dollar or 2!! I know about inflation, but this is getting ridiculous!!! lol

Fun times and funny things

Well, it's been a while!! Anthony just got called out to work and Macki is hanging out with Granna today, so I am home alone. I have some time to update while I watch the Bama game.. We are winning 35-0 right now!! Roll Tide!!

Let's see..Halloweenhas come and gone.. Macki and Karis had so much fun!! We are still eating candy! haha

I am so excited about the upcoming holidays.. I absolutely LOVE this time of year.. I have already had one Thanksgiving celebration and next week we have 3 more!!! My tree and many villages are all set up and the cinnamon broom is in place giving my house that WONDERFUL Christmas smell!!!! I even bought my first Christmas present last night!!!

Work is crazy this time of year, but still fun because that's when we make the $$!!! haha We opened our kiosk at Parway Place on November 1st. It has done well!! I have had to fill in up there a couple days when my employees are sick. Well, the other day, I was stuck at the mall so Dad picked Macki up from school for me. He brought her up there to drop her off and they decided they wanted to eat.. We had China Master (Macki's absolute favorite). As we were finishing up, dad went to get some icecream for them from Chick-Fil-A and I was going to throw away the trash. Macki asked if she could come with me and I said no, just sit here with our stuff. You'll be able to see me the whole time. Her response was one of the cutest things I have heard in a while. She said"But mommy, I will get erupted!" I said "don't you mean abducted?" She said "No, Erupted!!" I told her she was not a volcano, so she didn't have to worry! LOL

What's That, Uncle Toto??

This past week has been a busy one.. Monday night was gymnastics, Tuesday night church, Wednesday night my mom took us out to dinner at Olive Garden for Anthony's birthday, Thursday night aahhh we can stay home and rest up for the weekend. Friday night went to Mikato's with Anthony's family for yet another birthday celebration. Saturday we took Karis and Macki to Tate Farms.. It was FREEZING!! They had a blast though! Sunday morning we carved pumpkins and made cupcakes. Then got ready for the Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll. Anthony got out the iron and ironing board for his clothes. He was ironing in the living room when Karis walked y and said, "What's that Uncle Toto?" He didn't understand what she was asking, so she repeated her question. Then added, "I have never seen one of those before". When we finally figured out what she was talking about we were hysterical.. The child claims she has never seen an ironing board!! lol

"Is it a beed or a wath?"

My daughter has the funniest way of saying things.. For example:
We were in the drive thru at Burger King the other day and she noticed some sort of bug on the window and asked me..."Is it a beed or a wath?" lol Obviously she meant to say bee and wasp, but I didn't have the heart to correct her.. She's growing up so fast and I love the fact that she still mispronounces some of her words!! Kids.. haha
